    Reincarnation of Mabel the Jeep


    Jim & I wheeling Mabel near Rocky Gap Trail in So. NV. She later was totaled but the rolling chassis was saved.


    Loading up Mabel last Thanks Giving - well what is left of her that now has a 101" wheelbase for she was going to be rebuilt as a TJ-6 Rubicon. Modern chassis and drive train with vintage CJ-6 body.


    Pit Stop on way back to Vegas with David petting Mabel.


    Decided about 6 months ago instead of building a TJ-6 would rather put a Willys wagon or truck on Mabel. Today a Friend found a unrestored version of this truck also a 1950 Willys with factory flatbed - it is nearby & if things go well she will be parked next to Mabel soon.

    Will post more picks as plans and work progresses.

    looks like a cool build, a willys truck would be awsome
